I want to get a steering damper. What everyones imput on steering damper?
GPR or EBR ohlins ????

I hated the GPR. I would go with the Ohilns. There is no need for a steering damper! 140+ mph over a hill wheelie, almost highsided on a track without damper no issue coming out of the big moment, went off the track at 70+ mph dirt and all with no wobble/wreck. Just saying! I did get a small wobble once comming of a 100mph wheelie, but the bike wasn't set up and tire pressures were off a bit. Adjusted suspension, all has been good..knock on wood!
I know what it's like to ride with that peace at mind. Go with the Ohilns!

I have a COMPLETE Ohlins steering damper with all install instructions for sale for $400 shipped. Or EBR has them for $479 plus shipping and all that, which will end up being $500+.

If you have a CR I would do the GPR. I'm not sure you can put a ohlins on a CR well at least make it look good too

Haha nope 1125rcya only people with black rims :D hahahah jk. (Slicks don't count)

No chance in Hell Cya, Im proud of my used parts.... If ya don't need them, get'em new at the dealer, is what I say.

GPR

I like the "adjust-on-the-fly" feature of the GPR and plan on putting one on my XB12R. I have a damper on my other high performance motorcycle and really like the feel of the ride a damper renders.

Me personally, I love my GPR on my CR, but when I had the 1125R, I loved the ohlins. I remember MANY times of riding the backroads in South Texas and reaching down on left side of forks while riding and tightening up the damper just before hitting some twisties. After an hour or 2 on the ride home, I would just reach down again and loosen it up a bit and enjoy my 'cooldown' ride home. I guess it just depends on rider and what he/she has used in the past. :D

Gpr rocks, I love it on my cr! It's usually set to zero, but high speed bumpy roads and I'll dial it upa bit
