Im just finishing up the rebuild on my 9R and come to find that when my bike was taken apart the shop drained the oil out of my shock, is it worth puttin the oil back in a getting it filled with gas again? or would it be better to get a new shock?

why did they drain it in the first place? And as long it isnt leaking or need a rebuilt you should be fine to add oil to it

i don't know why, what i found was that hose was removed and i had to get a new banjo bolt, the guy who did it fooled me into thinking he knew what he was doin

to put oil in it do i need to take it somewhere or is that something i can do myself?

oh it the rear shock, as for the rear I do not know sorry. hopefully someone can jump in for that one

Wow....... I'd be fairly certain that the idiot who did it should fix and or replace the shock. Was it a stealership or a personal mechanic you know. Either way that dude/ company should be fixing this one.

So basically i have to rebuild it then, so it would almost be cheaper to buy a new one
