Swing Arm stain removal advice??

I purchased the bike last April with this oil spillage stain that I assumed wouldn't be all that impossible to removal. My real world attemps have failed so I turn to the Buellxb community for advice. Is there a product I could try? Or is repainting my only option?

wd-40, it will take a few times but should work, wd-40 can fix anything!

oh yeah I forgot about good ole WD-40! So just spray on and let it sit for a few minutes or immediately wipe it off?
