Recently bought an 09 CR with 7500 miles on it. After less than 100 miles of riding I noticed that the cords on the outer edge of the belt were getting frayed. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the inner edge of the pulley had been lightly grazing the swingarm. Tightening the rear axle to specs helped but only increased the clearance between them to about 1/16" (under side of swingarm, see photo). Should there be more clearance? Cause? - Folks with 1125's, could you take a look and report? Thanks for any help!

Wow that's way to close not sure the fix... I would remove the rear tire and start over completely here is my gap.

I believe the swing-arm was tweaked, the guy said the bike had been lightly laid down. I removed the wheel and used a scissor jack to spread the swing-arm a tad, not very scientific but the pulley clearance is better and the belt seems to be running true.
