T_gerrick on Badweb

Not sure if any of you guys do any of your shopping on Badweb, that's pretty much the only reason I even joined that forum. I sent T_gerrick $50 for a top triple, and he didn't feel it was important to actually sent me the top triple. It sucks because I know there's already some bad vibes between the two forums, but this really doesn't help my opinion of that one. If you do browse the classifieds over there, don't send that guy any money. Not trying to bash badweb, I would just feel bad if I heard anyone else saying the same thing happened to them and I hadn't mentioned it. He'll get what's coming to him eventually.

mate... never ceases to amaze me that there are people who just dont deliver. i am still waiting for my buell logo's and timing covers, or a refund! not holding my breath though. [smirk]

hope you get it sorted mate. next best thing is to name and shame so that someone else doesnt get burnt.

I did, but I sent it as personal to save him the ebay fees so I can't file it as a dispute. Lesson learned on trying to be nice.

yeah... see i will never do that. and just for htat reason. always say to paypal that they are for the goods, just in case. till this date i have only ever had one no deliver and one with damage not disclosed. but that has been over 70 transactions.

and yeah dave... polkiejoe stung me here.

I've only had it happen twice before, one was someone who didn't send something and the other was someone who sent me a bicycle frame that was already damaged and he tried to pretend like it was beat up in shipping so he could collect the insurance money. I fought my way through both and managed to get my money back so when I get a free day I'll see what I can do to track this guy down in the real world and start harrassing him.

On a positive note for Badweb. I posted a while ago that I was looking for a select seat, but really wanted to try one locally if I was going to trade my corbin for one. A guy on Badweb contacted me and sent me the seat without paying him anything, just to try it out. I payed him as soon as I got it and it worked out great.

So case in point, there are still some great guys on that forum as well.

Badweb is the same town, just a different neighborhood. I have no problems with any of the Buell forums.
