i got a cheap one and it came unsnapped on a ride over and over..plus the way i ride on the backroads it kept slipping all over.
i am looking for one that has a clear map pouch on it..or maybe another option for the bars for the map?
i use a gps but need to have notes just in case or a map. my current one i can't really see unless i am craning my neck way down.
anybody got one that holds well and is a decent size?

I have the Cortech 2.0 18L tank bag. Nice padding inside, includes visor cover, rain cover, hydration bladder support (push-through grommet), clear detachable map pouch. Pretty slick and stays put. I have it on an 06 XB12SS. Can't speak to it's durability because I just got it, but it feels pretty heavy duty.

sounds like more than i need..but i will ask..where and how much?
thanks. i will do a search for one now.

checked it out..looks pretty good..but can you see a map with it on a buell?
do you think the straps hold it really well?
i ride like a maniac i am told and with all the bumps on out backroads here it needs to hold without the straps coming loose etc.
