Is there a specific part number for tensioner pulleys for the drive belt? I saw one on buellster and it was black instead of the ho-hum aluminum. I need to buy a new one anyway and i have part#G0614.02A8E
Is there a different number for the black one? What's the price difference with or without the bracket? (mine has scratches on it)
Thanks buell parts guy!

Ive seen black pulleys but have never seen a black pulley bracket. I got mine black anodized. Why do you need a new one? If its just the bearings you can replace those. Or you can buy one from

here

yeah, i want a black pulley. the bracket doesn't matter. my bearing is noisy. has 53000 kms on it. how do i change the bearing? can i just press it out and press in a new one? have you done this? i just don't want it to fall out after! is there a part # on the bearing itself?:)

yea you have to press out the bearings, they are 6203's which are 17mm ID and 40mm OD and 12mm thick. get double sealed not shielded if you do buy just the bearings. You remove a clip that holds the bearings in then press them out. Once you press them out you have to split the two bearings then you can push out the inner spacers. They don't press in though, you have to use bearing and sleeve retainer when you install the new ones. I think they do this to speed up assembly on the line. The bearings are a slip fit, with the bearing retainer preventing the outer race from turning.

Big thanks to Konarider! Pressed out the bearings and followed your instructions..it was a breeze. The hardest part was getting the retainer clip back in!! Fresh bearing in there now and best of all it only cost $8.88 with tax! :)

Got bearings at a local store that sells only bearings and belts. I had the tensioner off while rebuilding the engine and just spun it. It was noisy.:)
