when i was a kid one of the coolest tv shows in existence was Then Came Bronson. it only aired for 3 seasons from 69-71 but debuted in 1969 which is quite fitting considering the fact that arguably 1969 was the most significant year in American history.
Bronson was played by Michael Parks. don't recall him doing much prior to or following the shows' 3 season run but he was from the McQueen school of super-cool. plus he rode a right hand shift all drum brake Sporster which was one bad-ass bike way back then.
Parks passed away 2 days ago. yet another piece of my childhood slipping away before my very eyes. p3272.jpg

Yes, I loved the show, and watched it religiously, very high cool factor back then.
Everything changes and most things unfortunately seem to change for the worse. It's a changing of the guard, out with the old and, in with the new.

I can vaguely recall my Dad watching that show. It was being rerun at the time.
After so many years, not too many pieces of that childhood left? Maybe that's why we get so cranky as we get old?
Makes a good case for you John!!!!
Ha ha ha!!!!!!
