I'm looking to purchase a new bike and the Ulysses has made my short list of possibilities. Are there any concerns that I should have with buying one with under 1000 miles?

No concerns with that low of miles. Just have Harley replace all the recalls asap.

And be aware that aftermarket parts are going to be harder to find for Buells.

Make sure you get a good deal!

Geese don't be so negative!

There shouldn't be any recalls. Aftermarket parts aren't decreasing, there is just not many new aftermarket parts coming out.

It seems like the Ulys have been holdign their value the best. Don't expect to find one as cheap as the other buells. It's a great bike and it will last as long as you want it to.

well he is already looking at the Buell so he knows the positives.

He was asking for the negatives :)

And yes there are a couple recalls for the ULY's, i know there is one for the kickstand.

Mine had 6000 on the clock when I bought it, it now has 12000.

It is the best bike I have owned, suits me just right.

Just make sure you can reach the ground properly as it is a tall bike. Things can come loose so just keep niping the bolts and screws up, keep the oil and other fluids topped up and you will be fine.

There are a whole host of DIY mods that you can do to this bike which make it run and ride better, but even as it is it's a fine bike.

Enjoy it!
