i seen that the ti force exhaust is the only other full exhaust made for the buell xb. is it only made for the 12 or is the 9 and 12 exhaust diameters the same? Has anyone heard how the performance is from the exhaust? i had a jardine and liked it but thought i could definately find something better. Hal's Harley Davidson in wisconson said that it didn't perform all that well and they said they did the same dyno tests to all exhausts just like american sport bike.com and said they came up with much different results.

(copied from another topic that mentioned the ti force...heres my input)

the ti force looks totally wicked, kinda looks like the scorpion exhaust on my old vw baja bug lol. 1600 is a little pricey for somethin that probably doesnt add anymore than 3-5hp more than other after market exhausts. heck....identical bikes right off the production line can vary that much in hp on the dyno.

save your cash ....just my opinion.

There is at least one more company that makes a full system for Buell and it's Termignoni

there are several full systems...

termignoni, tiforce, hp, free spirits, force, qd, blaster...to name a few (well most actually)

for the tiforce, the gain would be 3hp, tops, for the 12.
it fits the 9 aswel as the 12.

don't know about the best since i haven't found anything on the termignoni, qd in terms of results.

hp, free spirits have several systems.

force will decrease your low-end.
tiforce is looks & sound
blaster gives good numbers

I'll have to agree with LeFox, the HP gain on my ti force was minimal, It seems my torque curve has changed for the better, but its hard to say how much the pipe had to do with it, because I changed pipe switched to race ECM, K&N filter, open air box and breather reroute all at once. I love the sound and the look, mostly I went with ti force to be different, can't help it been like that all my life.

I would love to find info on the Termignoni full system to, they sound sweet!

I have seen a dyno graph for the slip on but it didn't have the stock pipe stats on the same graph so it was kinda hard to tell if it was any good.

who sells the full system? how much?

oh buy they way, if you can get you hands on a micron... (think ASB still has some) that would be my choice!

asb is all out. thanks for the input. i talked to a guy at hal's harly davidson shop in wisconson who said the ti force actually is out performed by the stock. sorry not knockin the ti, just trying to get a full exhaust for the best bang for the buck

if money is no issue I know a guy hear in Australia who has a couple of microns left, shipping would be very pricey!

Hmm, deja vu for some reason, LeFox seems to always be the one to post massive amounts of exhaust related info/vids/pics. [up]

Ahh, hey did you notice my rank is fixed now? Also, I just got a chopped tail piece from JOEL9 so I'll be putting that on in a week or two, and right now I'm in the market for aftermarket turn signals. Looking into something I've never seen anyone on here do so I'll tell ya'll all about it when I get it done and post pics. Sorry for hijacking the thread. Although I'm sure the exhaust thing has been covered quite thoroughly...AgAiN..:p

you will lose a bit in low-end, but once @ 3000rpm whiiiiiiiiiiii! :D

they work best for a 9, because of the higher rev range, but i still love them on my 12 ;)
