Tinting windshield?

Has anyone tinted the windshield on a bolt? How to?

I will be soon with VHT nite shades spray tint. You can make it as light or as dark as you want with the amount of coats of paint.

Meh just paint the inside. Looks better IMO

You can't see anything out of them anyway,I just spratpainted mine flat black inside and out,looks way better IMO

At 130 I am very glad that my shield is clear....

I cut mine down about 4 inches,putting the wind force on my chest rather than my head,at 130,with no cutout or recess in the tank to place the chin portion of a helmet,I'm glad I wear full leathers,just in case I can't see out of my black chopped windscreen.

You can buy window tinting kits at pepboys for pretty cheap. You just spray something on the inside, then lay the sheet of tinting material on it and let it dry. That way you could even remove it later if you wanted to go back to clear.

My windshield is scratched up so I want something to cover it, so if I do tint it It would have to be on the outside

Hey Bolty,I have a tinted screen from my 03 xb9r that I don't use,it has a sharpie pen mark going from one side to the other as I was going to use the screen for my chop fairing,don't know if your going to cut yours down or not but hit me up if you are interested,I'll shoot ya a pic,same goes for anyone else interested,but Bolty gets first shot.
