To Be or Not To Be... 1125 Dipstick

So I bought an 09' 1125r with 3300 miles on it. The engine was brand new in it from warrenty work done due to some pinging. When I go home with the bike it didn't have a dipstick as it should. Took it back to the dealer on a good weather weekend and asked about it. The HD dealer couldn't figure it out either. Finally someone read up that the new motor has a clear viewing glass on the side. Sure enough no dipstick, just a view window on the side of the motor. Scared me though.

Yup it got a 2010 motor. [up] Lucky dog! They are suposedly quiter and have all the updated part in them.

Thanks, Love the new motor. Just happened to get it at the dealer. Paid $6500 not bad for a bike with a new motor. Here are the pics of the oil fillers.

no stator problems with the 2010 either am i right?

So will a dip stick fit the 2010's? or is there no place for it?

2010 has the same stator as a 2009, they still had "problems".
