03 xb9sl... Or at least I believe it is. Has yellow rear shock, is there a way to tell on the vin?

18k miles, has Jardine and aftermarket bars, needs new fork seals and oil (seller has them, will include with purchase). Price is at 2800, but I think 2500 would be the deal.

I have an 09 9sx, but need it to be a little lower. This bike would be more of a commuter, but maybe I should just get scg suspension on my 09...?? Decisions, decisions.

yes, yellow rear spring denotes a low/scg, also where the forks are in relation to the top screw of the front fender as the pic below:

mileage isn't bad, I have just shy of 66k on my '03, aftermarket bars not an issue unless you don't like the riding position, I have Renthal Ultra Lows on mine and they're awesome, 2500 bucks sounds like a good deal, good luck either way you go

yes. look at 4th and 5th VIN characters. standard lightning will say SX..... the low or cg model will say WX
