well my Buell brothers and sisters it is aboot time to tune BamBam..and by tune I do not mean muck aboot with a TPS reset of fiddle with this or that..a full on tune!

I have read up on ECMspy and had purchased a cable from Randy (Hawkins) he also provided a ton of maps and info but honestly....I am lost LOL
:D
the thought of messing up BamBam due to my inablilty to really understand and comprehend what I am doing as well as some excellent points made by members of the BUELLXB.com community helped me come to this decsion...

....having read thru the many threads pertaining to ECMspy and tuning of our bikes I have decided that I will go with a pro...

Even tho I live in a fairly small town we do have alot of bikers around and aside from taking it to the one and only H-D stealership here on the island (same place that quoted me 119 bucks for a RSS that a member of this forum sold to me for 50 bucks brand new!! 117 bucks for a kickstand which I procurred off fleabay for 10 BUCKS!!!)are but a few reasons as to why H-D will not get a cent of my money...EVER!

I have had my eye on a local shop for the last half year..(there guy worked at said stealership for 13 years before coming over to Arrow)..
everyone I've chatted with have nothing but good things to say aboot these guys!

here is the website so you guys can all take a look and I will keep you updated on whats happening to BamBam when I can afford it..LOL

I too was leary of deciding whether or not to try tuning myself. I decided to take the plunge though, relying on the fact I could always go back to stock with simply burning the stock EEPROM and maps back to the ECM. Took it for my first ride after breather re-route, to do some datalogging and my damn laptop went tips up. Task postponed till dell sends my new one....I definately agree though, the task can seem overwhelming! Good luck with your tune man!

Every buell needs a good tune, stock or not it will make a huge difference. I rode home from work today with the heat index of 105 F and doing 80mph most of the way and the fan did not come on until I turned the bike off. [up]
