i got bored decided to see how fast anyone went in basicly anything with a motor. buell 130mph or whenever the rev limiter kicks in, 98 r1 167mph i didnt really stare too long at the speedo lol, mustang 155mph runnin from the cops somewhere in indiana , 900hp trans am about 200mph i wasnt driving tho :(
 
About 180 on a Busa before I lost my nerve and got out of it. I still had some throttle left. 150 something on my R6.
 
i did 130 something on my'09 xb12ss

wasn't really lookin' at the speedo

did about 650 in a jet coming back from vegas... i wasn't the pilot :(
 
140 on my XB9R when rev limiter hit. 200 plus on a bored out turbo (1450ish) busa, then the little guys crawled up my but. 170 in a 2000 SS Camaro (got pulled over doing 170 bad night). 25 on my daughters Razor
 
115 2004 lightning xb12s (I've only had it since August)
haven't dropped my balls yet.

70 (on gravel) 2006 Polaris Outlaw 500. GPS

64 (on gravel) 2004 Honda 400EX With White Bros. pipe, K&N filter, K&N jet kit. GPS

89 on a 32FT. American Offshore Cat. with triple 250HP Mercs. on speedo, so give or take 5mph.

The boat was by far the coolest, anything over 70 in a boat seems REAL fast. I was running the throttles while the owner steered running full bore at "Lake of the Ozarks".

Fastest i've gone on a bike was my '04 FZ6 140mph

In my 90 mustang I don't know cause i more than buried the speedo at 120 several times

but i'd venture to say the 140 on the bike was the biggest thrill since you're out in the wide open air
 
Beats me, about 15-17mph...on foot... 35 downhill on blades/skateboard, 65 on bicycle grabbed onto the back of my buddies truck down this old road, one of those "you won't do it...oh I won't huh? get your truck" kinda deals. lemme tell ya, that is scary on a bicycle.
 
Shame on all of you. I only go the speed limit and sometimes 5 under just in case my speedo is off.

that is my story and I am sticking to it.....

I can't say much for myself, Fastest I have ever been would be about 240km/h on my R1. It obviously had alot left but I was just not willing to find out. Top speed on the street just doesn't do it for me, too much risk not enough fun. I guess that's why I'm interested in the Buell Lightning. (And that is by no means an insult to you diehard Buellers, from what I understand Buell prides itself on handling not top speed..)
 
160 on my xb9r ........ I swear.... I swear .......it did i have the fastest buell there is it does 160, it has stckers and everything, no shirt wearing under armor undies no shoes even shaved my chest and head (hair causes too much drag) :)

338 km/h on a test vehicle. But my biggest adrenaline rush was 109 km/h on a mountainbike. Wiped out too and ended up on tv :) Not much left of the bike but I was fine. Had great body armor designed by a Canadian. Worked great.
 
i got a new one 45mph on my elf race bicycle flat land no hills or nothin. back when i didnt smoke cigs of course lol.and around 40 50mph on my snowboard yah. i never understood kmh , and i dont feel like changin it over to kmh. reminds me of a story when i had the r1 had a chick on back that didnt like goin fast at all(speed limit no more) so i switched it to kmh one day and she freaked out and started hitting me thinking we were goin 105mph on the freeway lol.
 
OK OK..... 35mph..... on Kajer's electric Radio Flyer wagon... Then I got pulled over....on the wagon.... by a cop. Did I mention I was on a wagon?
 
lol, you were cruising at 36volts, when you saw the red/blue flashing, didn't you kick in the 48v overdrive?
