Torque for rear axle

Anybody know what the correct torque is to tighten the rear wheel axle?
I hear that too tight or too loose can ruin the wheel bearings.

Front is 39-41 ft-lbs
Rear is 23-27 ft-lbs, then back off two full turns, then tighten to 48-52 ft-lbs
