TPS problem?

Ok, so I took my wifes bike out to data log the other day, its a 2007 xb12r. When I looked at the log I noticed the TPS was all over the place. Ive reset the tps, learn in ride and all. She has said the bike has had a rough spot around 2500 rpm, I figured maybe it just needed more fuel in that area until I saw this. Its not throwing any codes. I dont know if it means the tps is going bad or what the deal is with it. Any suggestions?

Unless you are talking about the TPS value at idle, it is supposed to vary in accordance with the throttle hence the name TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). It lets the ECM know what throttle position you're at so it can calculate how much fuel to add/subtract in accordance with your fuel maps. What you're worried about is completely normal.

Edit: If you ARE talking about it varying a lot during idle - then you do have a problem.

I understand its suppose to vary a little, but any others I've seen aren't near as bad. So I'm not sure what's going on

The screen shot, which one is the TPS value? the white line looks like a good tps to me, but, I might be wrong, Ihave never used mega log
