TPS really needed?

I've seen all the posts about resetting the TPS. My bike is running fine at 1500 miles, after installing my slip on. It idles perfect and no problems. Do I really need to have the TPS reset? Will it cause problems later if I wait?

Probably not. When I installed my Race ECM and Micron I checked the TPS value before and after. There was no change in the voltage reading between the two ECMs. I reset it anyway, but it didn't change anything. Sometimes you get lucky.

did you change anything to the bike after your installed the ecm?
get it get a good learn-in period?
