I just half way watched a movie, "Greyfriars Bobby" which is based on a true story. After the movie was over, I did a little reading. Back in the 1800s, this dog's owner passed away, so the dog slept on his owners grave EVERY NIGHT for 14 years, until he eventually died in his sleep.

There is a movie that just came out on DVD yesterday. It's a very similar story to the one mentioned above. It's called Hachiko. It's another dog movie. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen. It's in my top 4 for sure. I highly recommend it.

I'm a dog lover, so naturally that nearly made me cry. I read a short story once about a man who died and went to heaven. When he got to the gate he said to St. Peter, I'm so happy i get to see my best friend again. St peter said, no dogs in heaven. so the man walked past the gate... Of course the story said it with a bit more creativity then i can muster. But the point stands... Then when my neighbors dog died i bought her a cement stepping stone that said "if tears could build a stair way, and memories a lane, i walk right up to heaven and bring you home again." Having lost my puppy dog. These things get to me. I miss my boy. (Cough cough, man stuff, man stuff) how bout them Buells? HA HA

Sayjack, I know what you mean. Hachiko left me sobbing like a teenage girl. I'm not a dog person, just a general animal lover. But again, that movie is a must watch.
