Are there any other ulysses riders, UK based on this site as most of the users seem to be in the USA. So most of the places, part outlets and such are a little out of the way living in lincolnshire.

i'm on the other side of the sea, not the ocean :p

but then again, i don't ride the uly
but most cool aftermarket parts are euro based ;)

LEFOX. we plan to ride youre side in july. where's good riding to be found? we have 2 weeks looking for some twisties and good views. was going to faro rally but carnt be arsed

you mean belgium, france or germany?

want some great views & twisties, go for "cap gris-nez" & "cap blanc-nez" in normandie.

belgium, all around, just don't do highways and secondary freeways...otherwise there's too much road for such a small country, so twisties are everywhere.

germany you got alot of options with eifel and such...but know that with an aftermarket exhaust you will get stopped by the cops, but hopefully just for a warning.

;)

By 'we' I mean the good wife and I. guess i'll leave standard can on for the tour, have you ridden france at all? what do you ride? my other ride is a full race prepared suki bandit 600 it looks standard apart from some air brushing but the whole engine insides have been changed to 998cc full race tuned by noriuki Haga's chief mecanic should be finished soon. around 200 BHP also got my last project in streetfighter magazine sometime soon gixer7/11.

Those are some cool photos for sure man. But those roads you ride on are far too narrow for my liking. I guess all roads in Europe are like that though.

directly or via this forum?

via this forum you can add pictures to your usernamen and link them to the topic easy.

above the post you have 'search-my preferences-your photos'
=> click your photos and add pics (smaller than 2mb)
in the post itself you can select the
'add your photo' on the right below the smilies

Hullo,

Why are you guys so keen to jump across the water to Europe? I live just outside of Glasgow and the roads up the west and east coasts of Scotland are perfect for biking. I've had my Uly for nearly 18 mths now and I never tire of going for runs up that way. Ifyou haven't had a wee weekend, or even week long, trip in Scotland I'd really recommend it. I also spent a weekend in the Isle of Man last May and that was fantastic.

yea...i want to have a bike trip into scotland someday. but it's hard to do the trip and keep away from the whisky

Well, there is that danger right enough. Most of the best roads aren't too far away from a distillery :).
I have'nt done much riding south of the border. What are the roads like down there. The Lake District/Pennines must be good?
