Hi everyone, this is only my second post but I read stuff on here just about daily. I took a couple new pictures of my bike. The last ones I put on here were taken some time ago.
I just got my tires changed after about 8500 miles on the stock Pirelli Scorpions. I decided to get the Michelin Pilot Power 2ct as recommended by LeFox on here (like them so far thanks LeFox). I've only had them for a little less than a week but they seem to handle pretty good.
Also I cut up the air-box just like the pictures posted by zombieBUELLer (thanks as well) and it looks a lot better now that the clear blue cover is actually noticeable. Also the sound heard by me (probably not other people on the road) mainly comes from the air-box itself, nice sound of power.
Anyway thanks for all the ideas everyone and maybe someday when I can afford to I will get rid of the mickey mouse ears and get some bar ends or something. Oh I also did the "White wire mod", who knows if it did anything or not. The bike still runs fine so I'm assuming that it hasn't hurt anything thus far. Anyone have anymore info on that besides the threads currently on here?

Here's some pics:

And yes I know my "Chicken Strips" are quite wide. Anyone know of any good curvy roads here in South West Florida? Sorry if the pictures are huge..

Looks Good. One step at a time, That's how it becomes your bike and not like everyone else's.

Thanks guys. I haven't take the reflectors off yet I was thinking about it though. Also I kinda wanted to see if I could take off the big black X on my Airbox. but I'm not sure how to get it off and I don't want to ruin the plastic. I read some people use a hair dryer and all that...

not sure about the hair dryer on the X, but it works well for the reflectors. You can also run a string of floss behind them after you heat them up to make it even easier.

I'm in the SW of Florida, Fort Myers area. Until I can get a bit more light on the bike (especially the tail) I think I'll leave the reflectors on. I'll do anything to make sure the hundreds of "Snow Birds" can see me at night. -Speaking of which, any ideas on feeding some LEDs into the rubber holes in the tail section by the tail light. I figured that would be another way of brightening up the rather dim tail light. Anyone have ideas?
