Has anyone else used the updated gasket # 65324-83B? I have them installed flush in the heads with the tappered edge out to receive the header but something isn't right. Should the header be going a decent way into the gasket or should it be resting pretty much on the lip and I have to ratchet it down to fit? The headers are stock.

I cant speak for your headers (what are they?) but yes if you are sure the gaskets are all the way in then there is a certain amount or ratcheting needed, i gently (VERY) push or tap mine all the way in using a 50mm seal drift like this s-l1600 (23).jpg but be careful they are really easily damaged! good luck and post pics of your headers if you can!
