FYI: I removed the left side scoop to replace the front plug on my 08 Ulysses and noticed the cooling fins had started to melt into the plastic wire connector from the voltage regulator. Removed the zip tie holding them to front vertical tube and pulled the wires down and zip tied both of them to horizontal tube, away from engine. Doesn't look as tidy, but, pretty sure it'll avoid the wires grounding out from the fins melting into it. YMMV.
