Does anyone have any after market mufflers they want to sell Ex. Jaridine,D&D, ect?
Not wanting to spend a whole lot. If you know of anything please post.

I have a Voodoo LD W/internal elbow and duel outlets I could part with. I bought it two weeks ago and its to loud for my taste, so I am keeping my Voodoo DIY exhaust and letting this one go. $300 + free shipping to the lower 48. Also note that this is a preproduction pipe, so there is no "for race use only" stamp.

On the freeway it is not bad, but around town it is two loud for me. I had my dad ride the bike so I could hear it from a different perspective and it was not to bad, but if I were to keep it I would wear ear plugs. If you are still interested 250 will be close enough.

My i am if it has a deep sound i know some of those pipes end up sounding tinny thats the big thing i am worried about if its deep i am interested.

So, it looks like I am the new owner of this pipe. Is there any way I can get as much info as you have on it... I want to know if you were able to install this pipe and not have any of the gremlins that need to be "tuned" out, i keep reading almost everyone on here that adds a pipe has to tune to some extent. I dont care about how loud it is that is a nonissue any help would be great.

Stopie20, the pipe worked fine for me, it was just to loud for my taste. I bought the pipe with the intent of keeping only one of my aftermarket pipes. I liked my Voodoo DIY better, so I sold the pipe that is now in your possession. From my experience with the muffler "which is only one ride" is that it will work fine without a retune. Just let the ECM relearn the pipe by Going on the freeway and cursing at a constant RPM between 3400 and 3800 for a few minutes and you should be good to go. But to truly gain the full potential of the pipe you should get a retune.
Hope that helps
Walter

One thing I forgot to ask is have you performed any other performance mods? The stock ECM will only adjust so much and can only handle about one mod, any more than that and the bike will run to lean.

no other mods, just the pipe for this summer, I dont think the gains to be had are worth the air filter or just tuning... over next winter I will most likely be doing a big bore kit, heads, cams and then I wil be doing a but load of tuning,... or maybe just a bolt on cold air turbo?

Still on the bench. I was going to install, but decided to wait for my seat rails to get back from powder coat so once the pipe is installed I can immedeatly get on the highway (for the ECM to do its learning thing)dont want to sit in the garage revving the engine if its running too lean... i may post a sound clip and update once installed.
