Just finished changing the oil in my 09 12R. The bottom of the filler cap and top of the oil tank was covered with white goo... If it was a water cooled bike I would say that it has a blown head gasket, but being air-cooled I have no idea where the water is coming from. I've only had the bike a couple of months, it has 1700 miles on it. The kid I bought it from claimed all the services had been done, but I'm starting to doubt it. Anyone here have any ideas?? [confused]

Also, check your clutch cable adjuster boot- about 1/2 way up the cable in te front of the bike. If this does not seal properly, it lets water down the cable into the primary. Usually al it takes is a zip tie around the top to seal it off.
