Howdy y'all... been browsing the forum for a few weeks and decided I'd go ahead and join up. Planning on getting an XB12R in the spring. Previous bikes include a '96 GPZ1100 and an '01 'busa. The 'busa was an amazing bike but was a little to much straight line to be fun on a curvy road. And it got stolen about 2 months ago, so even if i did love it more than anything it wouldn't matter because geico sucks and so do crappy people. Anyways my family (www.virginiabeachregulators.com) calls me MIA so yea, thats me...

Welcome MIA. If you're looking to carve some curves, a Buell is an awesome choice. Sucks about you're bike getting stole though. [mad]

yea the worst part was my theft coverage (or lack thereof rather). so now i'm stuck paying off this amazing bike ('03 motor, mild cam, full d&d exhaust, K&N, PC3, couple of other things) that i can't even enjoy anymore. although after it got stolen, i found out the majority of my family (wife included) was pretty well convinced it'd be the death of me. so maybe its for the best, who knows. definitely can't wait to pick up an xb12r though; i'm ready for something that can actually carve a curve better than the 'busa (its carving abilities were best related to that of an old butter knife), so yea. any buells in chicago? i'm here for the next 6-7 months for school (good ole' great mistakes) so if anyone is in the area i'd love to chill and talk bikes
