Alright. So Im already tired of my 1125 sounding like a pack of farting rodents. Not only does it sound like crap but unless i run it hard I can't even hear the stock exhaust when I'm on the bike. I'm looking into fabbing up an exhaust to use until I can get some money saved up for an aftermarket.

So my main questions are the performance issues. How would the engine/ecm cope with a simple design exhaust? The exhaust would be the only performance modification run. I realize this is a very general topic but im just looking for some input and experience on the matter at the moment. Performance is more important than look or sound to me but with my riding style I heavily rely on the sound of my bike (which is hard to do if you can't hear the damn thing!). I know dean does modding of the stocker for a little extra sound but I personally hate everything an the stock exhaust. It looks like poo.

Also My bike is a California model. Am I correct in saying only euro models and Cali models have the cadalytic converter??

What about any sensors in the system after the headers? [confused]

^^^ both great guys doin some great work. Heavily considering dean's rt-3, a barker,or some of Randy's work once I get the cash saved up (probably sometime after February). Until then since i already have all the parts necessary and a machine shop in the garage I'm looking at doing a no cost complete from scratch DIY exhaust. I'm not expecting performance gains like the other exhausts but I will not tolerate performance loss so I'm asking for a little advice [up][up]
