My stator is read between 13.6 and 14. Could I get HD to replace under warranty then replace the vr??

My bike wouldnt get above 12.8 volts at idle or during rides. Had fully charged battery, and it would kill it after, even a ride around the corner! When it starts to go out they should replace it. They replaced the stator and vr, and upgraded the puter to new map. Good luck, hope it works out for you...

Ill explain more. I just got the bike. 600 miles on it now has 1400 miles on it. Warranty runs out in NOV. This looks like it might be the closest thing to a permanent fix http://roadstercycle.com/Shindengen FH012AA Regulator upgrade kit.htm
But I want the damage on the stator to be nonexistent.
So can I get HD to change the stator before I upgrade the VR? and before NOV?

No way there going to rePlace that it's working good.
I have the MOSFET still burned a stator the rr may help but there's no confirmed repair other than the 08 stator and rotor.

Rt...did you have the new vr with the original stator? Or just the custom rewind one?
