Inspired by a similar thread, I decided to put my free-time and some scrap metal to good use this last weekend and build
a much needed new tool for the garage...:D:D
The hardest part was getting the rod to stroke ratio right.
I'm sure there's a geometry equation for it but I hated geometry.

The stain I used on the plywood is a 4:1 ratio of used motor oil from my Buell and gasoline [cool]

CGO by FAR!~!!!! I can stick metal together, he can weld Aluminum to Zirconium!!!:D

Hahaha, Its still nice to have the equipment to do that. I'm slowly building my garage up!

If I had a metal lathe, I'd move out of the house and into the garage. The wife might buy one for me if I put it like that. ;)

I bought a welder a while ago and have been practicing more and more lately, it's so much fun being able to fabricate. I walk around and when I see metal things I think "I could totally weld something to that"

Hahahahaha!!! That is bada$$!!!! I love it! Now that is a build!! The stain is ingenious and I can't wait to try it out with ya next time I make it to Tejas!

Mini-CGO definitely has a cool uncle!:D

I don't know Dude, looks like you'll be able weld aluminum to zirconium pretty soon too!

Love it!
