What kind of coolant is everyone running?

If i get bumped to advance. i will be flushing and switching to engine ice or water wetter.
Sucks being in michigan water will freeze here 32 today and it is nearly april

i actually use the engine ice in both of my quads. kinda pricey but it works good and you dont need much for a quad.

anyone ever run just water though? i dont ride in freezing temperatures, would just need to drain it before winter if its not stored in a somewhat heated garage.

100% water has better cooling properties, but it also is corrosive! You shouldn't run 100% water unless it's a race machine that is broken down and rebuilt a lot. Use some sort of anti-freeze/coolant (nearly all are designed with anti-corrosion properties) with corrosive inhibitors and distilled water mix.

I don't have a liquid cooled Buell, but I do run Engine Ice in all 4 dirtbikes.

The boil over point is also lower with straight water

80% distilled water, 20% antifreeze.

Engine ice in the WR450F. Good ol' O2 and H20 for the buell..

Just a little FWIW...deionized water is not corrosive.
