For around town riding, it really depends on the weather, but I always wear some kind of armored boot. I have a pair of Sidi Streetburners which are very good riding boots for the street. They are a bit lacking when it gets very cold, though so I also have a pair of Stylmartins for that. If I think I need leg protection, I have a pair of Rev It armored pants that I slip over regular jeans or even shorts in the summer time. For cold weather riding, I have a pair of Bilt armored overpants that work very well as well. My jacket selection tends to also be climate driven, so for wintertime use I wear a Triumph H2 Protec jacket which is fantastic in terms of protection and warmth. For milder climates, I will sometimes wear a waxed canvas jacket from Roland Sand Designs. When it gets really hot out (I'm in southern Arizona), I will wear my Dainese armored mesh jacket with aluminum shoulder caps. It is by far the best hot climate jacket I have owned. For gloves, I have perforated leather street gloves from Rev It, but I also like the RS Taichi stuff. For colder weather I have a pair of "all season" RS Taichi gloves.
