so i have the choice of going to vegas for my bestfriends 21st his parents got a suite for us all i have to do it buy a plane ticket.... thats around 450 round trip plus food. alc. strippers [smirk] hookers and maybe $ to get out of jail ahahah whos knows its vegas but anyways im looking to spend around 1500 in three days between not working so loss of wages and spending stupid $...... or i can put all of that money into my buell. i was thinking about doing that exhaust a race, ecm or remap and dyno with a k&n, HID's new tires, grips and other small stuff. what would you do?
 
Don't be a dick. I can't believe it's even a question. Go spend time with your best friend. And Vegas can be a lot cheaper than you think if you're smart about how you spend your money, and bring a bit of strategy with you to the Blackjack table.

I don't think I've walked away from the city in the hole for money, ever.

Oh, no doubt. If it's a choice between spending your money versus saving your money, and you're hard up for cashmoney, then save it and do something with your brotato locally. If, however, it's a question between Vegas and dumping money into your Buell, that's a very different story.
 
There is a fine line between experience and regret.

But I say go for it. Spending money on an experience and memories with your friend will be far more important down the road then having your bike the way you want it.
 
Don't spend money you don't have. The best way to dig yourself out of a hole is to never jump in. Memories of strippers, hookers and a whole bunch of other stuff you'll be too sh*tfaced to remember won't pay your bills.
Between your bike and your best friend... Friendship doesn't come in seasons.. Riding does (there will always be another one).

No brainer. Vegas. Learn how to okay craps. In a casino that's where the least mount of money can double the quickest. So get good and watch you $100 turn into $200.

And all that stuff you want would be atleast $1000. Can have a great time in Vegas for cheaper. I agree with theoctopus. No brainer. Vegas.
 
I hate to contradict you GOduc, but craps and roulette are the biggest sucker games on the floor. The odds are most stacked against you.

Blackjack (assuming you know your strategy tables) and Baccarat offer the best odds.
 
The way I see it is its his 21st.......that in itself tells you its going to be a Drunk fest full of stupid decicions that can land you in a heap of troubles. If you strapped for cash he should understand you position. I say take him out locally and have a blast for way less cash, Pay your bills, stock the fridge, and treat your bike to 1 peice of bling within your price range. It sounds nice and all to go to Vegas but not going will not end your freindship. Do what you NEED to do not what you WANT to do.
 
You can bring your Buell to Vegas and pawn it for hooker money, and if you bring it to Gold & Silver Pawn maybe we could see your mug on Pawn Stars! Say hi to Chumly for us :D

If I ever go thats my 1st stop......lol. I wanna see if they really hang out in the shop that much. Ive been told its kinda a dump and they are never there unless filming.
 
my bruda lives in a dif state. well we will see in the next few days. thanks for the mixed answers everyone [up] haha i say all of us buellers meet in vegas and tear sh!t up
