What's the secret to buying tires?

I swear there has to be a secret code to buying tires. Last year i bought tires for my old bike a new front and rear i received the correct style and size tire but both were marked front tire only. That was from indysportbike.com i called and got the tire replaced. Now today i received a tire i just ordered from motorcycle-superstore.com i ordered a pirelli scorpion sync to keep matching tires front and rear but they instead sent me a pirelli scorpion trial. I think im just going to keep this one read good reviews and it was more expensive than the tire i ordered.

You could buy from a local shop, those guys need the business and you know what your buying is what your getting. I buy online too but I do try to support the local guys when I can.

I went to a local guy first that can match any price you find but the people he orders from had the tire i wanted back ordered until the end of the month. Still taking the tire to him to be replaced.

I buy tires from two places: SportbikeTrackgear.com and swmototires.com. Mistakes can happen, but my experience with those two has been good.
