I'm in the process of changing tires and i see in the manual that the front wheel axel is left hand thread but nothing about the rear....should i assume that the rear axel is normal right hand thread???
Never done this before so don't want to balls it up.
Thanks for any help
Justin

euro is right in, left out...
but that could differ with u.s. models.

if you're not at it with a extended tool, you should be able to feel you way before causing any damage. ;)

:p As much as I hate to say it.....have you called your local dealership and asked the service department? :p Just wondering is all.

they are both the same just dont forget the keeper screw on the right side of the swing arm. good luck

be easy

Thanks for the inputs.... called the dealer and got the info... left hand thread on front and right hand on rear.
Cheers

Glad it worked out for you, did you stick with the stock tires or did you go to a different style/manufacturer?

Went with the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT..... WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Feels like a totally different bike. Starting to get my confidence back on leaning the bike over and not having it slide out. Don't really have any decent riding in Vegas but any chance to go round a corner a little more aggressivly, i'll give it a bash.
