I just bought a new EBR 6mm front rotor, and i need a new hardware kit.

As you can see here EBR is sold out. ;(

Now, I've checked buellparts and ASB but cannot find any of these hardware packages. I also checked ebay. I don't have a "local" HD dealership (closest ones 2 hours away, don't wanna ride there on a ****** brake anyways).

Where the **** can i get one of these? Somewhere online please!

Or does anyone have new or used hardware laying around?

I appreciate the help, thanks.

Try American sport bike thats where I get all my gaskets and what not. Cheaper then HD

Try Chicago HD they do deals for online shipping? Not sure if they can get it but it's worth a try! I used to order HD parts from them and the shipping and price was less than local HD. Just a thought worth a try!! Have you tried Buellsterparts? Make sure you email them they are slow to respond!!!!

If it was me... I would just clean up all of the old hardware on a wire wheel, get some high strength locktite and put them back on and torque to spec. Wait until you can buy from EBR. That hardware is just too overpriced elsewhere.

You'll be fine with that.

Damn! it is expensive from ASB. Thanks for the link btw JOEL, i looked through the whole site but guess i missed it.

I can do 40.00 but.. 60+ shipping god damnn!

Bleh I may do what you jsut said Dave, my only concern is the PO was an idiot and who knows what he did, im going to pull the rotor off and check out the hardware and clean it up like you said. Ill put it on with the old hardware and new pads/rotor and see if i get a shaking feeling under braking - and if so ill replace the hardware as well.

Thanks guys. And if anyone else knows of a cheaper source then ASB let me know!

the EBR kit does not use the springs for reasons in their description. wonder how well it works in a non-racing application?

I always wondered why the springs were there... still don't understand it?

Anyway, I'm cleaning and reusing my hardware (stock braking parts). I know it says not too, but I don't see it being an issue.

EBR uses a type of wedge that acts as a spring.

The springs/wedges are used so that the rotor is not fixed, but "floating" This allows it to compensate for pad wear and gives a little so that if some is pressed on it, it wont warp as easily.
