Picking up my 1125CR tonight, it's a 2009 with 5100 miles on it.

Which exhaust does everyone have?

and where can I get the best price?

I have considered calling Randy up and shipping the pipe off to him bc I have another month before riding season even starts.

Post up some sound clips if you go this route.

I have a Special Ops. Didn't like how it sounded (like it was just hollowed out) so I opened and modded it myself. Now I love it....BUT.... I got a noise ticket.
I'm now running a Buell Race (which I like). I'm taking the noise ticket court. If I win I'll put the Special Ops back on (repeat offenders get bigger fines). If I don't win I'll keep the Special Ops and move to another city (which I want to do anyway).

This thread is 1125 bikes.. not sure but I don't think special ops has a muffler for this..

I have a FMF on mine but got it before there were so many options... I'm VERY happy with it. Sounds great and I like the look.

If I could afford any option I would have the Buell full race pipe or the FMF full system. If I was buying just a slip on again I think I would go with the dual outlet KEDA pipe.

I can get you an FMF apex exhaust for about 400 shipped. Titanium and carbon. They'll be back in stock early next month.

as of now I think I would go that route... I like the idea of the quiet insert, although I usually like really loud pipes, it would be nice to have the insert. Let me know when you have them back in stock please.

Took off the HMF I bought first and installed a Barker system at the begining of this year.

Simillar sound at idle, but different at higher rpm.
Took some different fuel mapping to make it run well...overall, much better thAn the HMF.
And I'd bet, better thAn the simillar to the HMF..straight thru mufflers on other systems.

If you want something that is a great price go with a Hawk. He doesn't have any dyno numbers but I am sure if you dis a stock dyno and then an after he would consider a discount for you if you event him your dyno sheets or him to post on his sight. [up]

Here is a shot of his 1125 Muffler

Randy is a great guy, he has helped me with quite a few things on my XB over the phone, such a nice guy and he knows Buells.

I really don't like the way the stock CR exhaust looks, or it wouldn't even be a decision. It is so big and dumb looking. I like the look of something like the Jardine or FMF.

Barkers with the barker tuned EBR race ecm.
NO REGRETS.

Happens to be Tim Barkers shop is about a hour and a half Drive it's truly an american run and owned small bussiness.

I believe the guys name is Barker...no "s"...!

And for me...the (1-5/8" and 1-1/2") quiet core did nothing for the sound at idle...the place that I wanted to help my neighbors out at 5:30 in the morning..!

It also changed the fueling requirements...so right now, no quiet core.
