will a firebolt gauge cluster fit my lightning?

My stock XB9SX lightning speedo/cluster has a cracked lens, and there's currently a firebolt unit with only about 8 miles more than my bike has, so I'd really like to snag it, but I need to know if its a simple unbolt/bolt back on swap? Are all connectors still plug and play?

Anyone done this before?

Yes. I put a lightning cluster on my firebolt for the same reason.

Yup it will work. If your anal you can just pull the new one apart and swap the lens or front half of the case to yours and it will be as if you never had an issue. then resale the uneeded unit. Or buy some plexi ad cut your own lens.......

Now that I know it fits I was thinking the same thing about cutting my own lens, will probably end up doing that. Then again, the fact that I'm literally only 8 miles off may end up making say screw it, we'll see how adventurous I'm feeling when it arrives. Thanks all, much appreciated.
