windscreen scratches too easy

[mad]Hey guys after washing my bike yesterday, I noticed just how easy the windscreen scratches. I had a brand new microfiber towel and it was leaving swirls. Also once in a while I will take my hat off and stuff it under the windscreen. I didnt realize my cotton hat was scratching the underside, but it looks like crap. I also put a couple swirls in the paint. My EagleOne wax which works great on my Sportster doesnt work so well on the Buell. What are you guys using for wax? Is there anything I can do about the Clear Windscreen?[mad]

novus 1 and h/d soft cloths.

I use Novus, starting with the coarse (if it's deep) and then going to Fine and working it in - with LOTS of elbow grease.

Ebay was cheapest with the Kits.

get a spray bottle and spray with soapy water first, let it loosen the dirt for awhile then spray some more to flush the dirt of the plastic before you touch it with a wet soapy towel. keeping scratches off is easier than removing them.
