So I've taken my 03 xb9r out 2 times in the last few days and noticed a couple issues that need to be addressed immediately.
Problem #1 - My clutch inspection cover has a stripped hole, which the screw is now missing. And now it leaves a couple drips a day.
Solution #1 - tap and drill. Replace gasket.
Solution #2 - new primary cover and all 3 gaskets
Problem #2 - I have a beson full exhaust system that I installed last summer which I just noticed the rear header has been making contact with the crankcase breather hose and scorched a huge hole in, leaving oil residue everywhere on the case.
Solution #1 - replace with oem, route away from header, and install some heat shielding.
Solution #2 - Replace and route the hose away from the header side exiting out the other side and move my catch can and breather filter which eliminates all that length going from the crankcase up under the airbox
Please give me some feedback so I can have this thing buttoned up for the upcoming full riding season
