I have a 2006 Buell lightning xb9sx with 12k miles on it. Great condition. Issues with bike was no compression in the rear cylinder. So I'm thinking of either fixing it and selling it or just parting the whole bike out. Which would you think would be more profitable before I repair and buy new parts for it.

I just want to save as much money as I can for the sporty I wanna get. And with the cost of buying the Buell and the repair and shop bill I'm just worried just how much I'll be in the hole when it's all said and done

Sell it as is, disclose what the problem is. I don't care to see them parted out unless they're wrecked/totaled but that's just me. It's certainly repairable, could be anything from a broken piston or rings, bent pushrod or just junk on a valve seat.
