WTB stock XB exhaust

As I said, looking for a nice stock muffler (and hardware, if available) in order to do a Hawk mod. I bought my bike with a Jardine so I don't have the original needed.

I'll def keep that in mind. Since it's going to be sent off for mod (if I end up going that direction), I'm hoping to start out with an undented can. Now if I was just swapping to sell the bike....that'd be most ideal can to install on her!

When you "mod" the muffler, that mean your basically cutting the pipe up and gutting it. So you will have the whole muffler apart making it possible to work the dents out from the inside.

^^^^^ Or you can drill holes in the right spot and use a dent puller to get the dent out . Then weld drill holes up if not gutting.

Well ****. I'd have taken it had I known that. I'm learning stuff here everyday. If one of y'all don't end up taking it....then I will. I have NOTHING right now; I can't even ride the damn bike until I get a new pipe.

This is essentially what I was going to do, but I was going to weld some steel rods to the dent and use a slide hammer to pull it out. Then I was going to get a piece of 14-18 ga steel and weld it over the dent area to reinforce it as "skid plate" of sorts.

The gutting project I was imagining was to cut the exterior can from a Magnaflow and shove it into the stock can. Before you flame me on this idea, it was just a theory in my head and I didnt get around to really putting pen to paper.

I dont think it would have made any more power than stock, but would have sounded a hella lotta betta!

That second one is priceless. Ya, I have the first bid on the pipe you pointed out on eBay. It looks about as good as any you could find. Assuming it doesn't go crazy, I plan to go with that one

So I was able to pickup that nice looking pipe. It hasn't showed up yet. Paid a little more than I wanted but I doubt there's many that hit eBay that are in such nice condition
