I have one on my 06 xb9sx. I love it. I can put my helmet/gloves onto the airbox without it falling off of the bike. I would say the only con is that it is an extra piece to clean. Also when I'm using ecmspy I can set it the laptop on the tank without worrying about it falling off. Of course I'm not moving with the laptop on the airbox before someone asks

i like mine. works for everything dallasb said plus what it was made for, keeping a tank bag from scratching your plastics. also adds to the whole city x handguard, headlight grille look[up]
