Hi,

I have a 2001 X1 Lightning with a dodgy gearchange linkeage.
Ordered one from LSL only to be told 7 month later that they don't make them anymore.
Can anyone please advise me where I can get a complete new or good linkeage?

Thank you for any advice

Gerd

Which linkage do you have? The "boomerang" style used on the earlier bikes or the revised setup used on the last couple years of the tubers?

What is "dodgy" about it? The boomerang style was never the best design, and will always have some slop to it. Even if you get the bronze bushing kit and precision lap them, its still not as tight as the updated setup.

On the updated linkage, there is a nylon bushing at the pivot point. Did you replace that?

It helps us to give you an answer if you provide more detail than "dodgy".
