well guys ive been working on my 08 1125r since october (with time away from school and work) and this is what i have been able to do so far.....

i am taking the 1125r front off and replacing it with the xb12r front fairing and headlight assembly (that is the biggest change)

also i am going from gloss black to satin black
and adding the HR-1 Riot exhaust system (kudos to BurningExample)


so let me know what you guys think of what i am doing and any input is great

next up is HID kit for the projector headlights and custom paint job after the satin black is on

alright guys i got almost all of the parts i am employing on the bike from ebay and so far i an extremely happy with it all from ebay. the 10k HID kit i am running is the H3 10k kit from sportiva (again off of ebay). if you look close enough on some pics you can see i have the cycle pirates rider foot pegs and some aftermarket levers(ebay again). and like i said the headlight assembly is a full oem xb12r setup (dont know if it is pre or post recall for the flaking issue).

oh9bolt i decided to go with the 10k because i love the brightness of them and they match the ones on my truck. also i live in KS and ride back roads all the time along with some close enough to KC. also i personally like the more blue look than the 6-8k lights

awesome plan. I saw an 1125 with a firebolt fairing years ago and it looked perfect, I always wondered with they didn't look that way from the factory. Can't wait to see it when it's done!

ya thanks guys. my baby is off for a custom paint job on top of what i already gave her. no little hints or details of what she will be wearing...all i can say is i have never seen anything sporting something close to what she will be wearing.
