Does anyone know or have the parts book to find out if an '03 xb9 primary sprocket & chain will fit my '07 XB12?

I know the chain and sprockets are compatible 'til '07 but am not able to confirm the years because the primary reduction kit I found on ASB mentions '04 to '07 and all other are '02 to '07. I have a '03 XB9 sprocket and rotor unit + chain I wish to install.

I guess I would ned to compare the part number off a '03 XB9 with whichever '04-'05-'06 or '07 part number because I know for sure it'll fit from '04 to '07

The '03 XB9 part #: 40241-02 ROTOR HOUSING
The other years for XB9 part #: ??????????? Need to find out somehow!!!!

And also... If I have the rotor housing from the XB9 already mounted on its sprocket would I need to switch the sprockets from one rotor housing to the other? These rotor housings should be the same right? Just the sprocket is a different size? :D

Thanks for letting me abuse of your knowledge guys!!!

Yes but be careful I have had the unplesant job of replacing the cranks on a few XB bikes that have done that mostly due to them not removing the Primary cover at Say maybe 3000/OR so miles and the shaft is damaged beyond repair. These parts fit but seem to shake loose in some time of riding. For what little power it does help add, to me MY opinion cost to much if not properly retorqued after some miles are ridden. Good Luck and safe riding.
