This is what I rode home 2.5 hrs in the rain last fall:
2009 Firebolt XB12R with just under 7k miles, owned by a former Buell mechanic. Sold to me because he liked my enthusiasm and appreciation for things that are a bit different from the norm. Plus I had cash. I'm sure that helped haha.
This is how she sits now:
Buell select seat (came with from PO), bags (tail bag not shown, also came with the bike from the PO) KD drop pegs, Pilot Road 4 tires, bar risers, right side scoop, exhaust wrap
This is what I rode during the summer prior to finding by Firebolt:
1975 Honda CB550. Minor mods to my liking, mechanically sound thanks to help from my father-in-law, great intro to riding and appreciation of fuel injected bikes because carb work sucks.
This was supposed to be my first bike, but it turned out to be too big of a project for me:
It ran on an external fuel tank but required way too much other work to be functional so it went back into the barn.
I'll update this thread with changes to and vanity shots of my Firebolt as they happen. Thanks for looking!
