If you want to learn stuff and it be slightly more organized as a learning environment then I would stick with ridesmart of course. Lonestar is basically pay money and ride the track. No instructors. And riders are better there. People typically switch to lonestar when they feel they've learned enough. Meaning level 2 riders lonestra will be better and faster than level2 ridesmart. I've also noticed ridesmart instructors would keep telling me "dial it Down a notch" kindof. And that's never thr case with lonestar. And of course,
there's no restrictions on where to pass other than do it safely.
For me personally though, I learned a crap ton just from playing follow the guy that's waaaay faster than me. Watch people and do what they do. Sortof. And if you're not sure then just ask. Ridesmart instructors have tl watch the entire group and NOT JUST YOU specifically.
For Austin area. It isn't too far to college station check out Texas world speedway. Never actually been on the track though. I've done cresson, eagles canyon, msr Houston. All fun in their own way(s)
