Started the lightning conversion in Saturday. Go the tail and seat on. Rides like a dream. Had some problems with the seat. Upholstery, fitment. Then the reservoir cup, but I ordered it and that should take care if hat problem. Just thought I post a few pics as I went along.

May i ask what the idea was behind the ratchet straps?

The seat had been sitting off the bike awhile and when it got hot it deformed a little. So I pulled the vinyl and put the seat on, strapped it down. Then let the sun do the rest. It reformed itself. Then I reupholstered it and now it sits the way it was meant to.

Nice! Love the color combo! What paint did you use to paint your heel guards? It matches perfectly

Ok cool thanks. I bought the vht gold flake because I heard it was a close match but when I spayed it it look too dull.
