XB12S. handguards

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

I just installed carbon fiber ones from Trojan-Horse. Extremely easy install but haven't had time to test them out. I got them mainly for winter riding as my hands are the only things that get cold in the 35 degree weather

Had them on my TT and they did a great job of blocking my hands from the cold air. Could really tell a difference. They were standard on the TT so I don't know about installation although it looks like it would be easy.

I run them on all my buells.. they really block the wind on chilly days. Touratech sells an upper spoiler for them that exaggerates their effectiveness, too. Make sure you get the handguard kit with all the mounting hardware!..

Melie where you located in Maine? I'm around the Augusta area. I sent you a pm with my cell #, give me a call sometime! Take care -Arthur-

my XB cityX and my XB Ulysses both have them and they really work great. with a set of heated grips that you can find on fleabay for around $50 or so, really makes cold weather riding alot more bearable.

ASB sells the mounting hardware separately if you get the handguards from somewhere else. Just an FYI

unfortunately i to have hand guards but no mounting screws and HD dealer in Germany quoted at 90$!!!
So looking a place that sells the kit

Email them, I just ordered all the mounting hardware less than a month ago. They didn't have some of the screws in stock when they thought they did, so I had a wait a few weeks but I got it all through them (I had bought the handguards elsewhere)

With HD prices in the EU you can probably fly to the US and buy it your self and it will be cheaper :)

I know this is an old thread that died a long time ago but I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the bar ends. I would cut them off as I've done in the past but I thought I'd save these in case someone wants buy my handguards.
