So I'm going to look at an 09' 1125r, I currently ride an 05' XB12scg. Just wondering with these bikes if there is anything I need to know. I was told they are prone to electrical issues. Personally wish I could get the CR but they've become incredibly hard to find.

When I was 1125 shopping, I learned to look for clicking front forks, leaking clutch weep hole, & non-functioning indicator lights.

Good luck in your search...

I have a 2009 Buell 1125R. It's a great bike!
I commute each day on a 2008 Ulysses. The difference between the two is very apparent every time I fire up the 1125R.
But there are some "electrical issues" which need to be addressed (especially if you ride in hotter weather).
I did have to get the stator rewired with a higher temp copper wire, the rotor drilled for cooling effect, and also purchased a new regulator which I mounted under back tail. In all, cost was only around $350. So you might want to figure that into your purchase price.
Good luck!

Thanks for all the info, turns out the guy doesn't have the clean title from the lein yet, so until then the search is on to find one fairly near me.
